WE'RE ENGAGED!!!

It's official. On Saturday, May 6th at the Rose Garden/Shakespeare Garden in Stanley Park (Vancouver, Canada), Mark got on his knee to propose. Although it was expected, it was still unexpected! We took a walk through the pergola to view the lush green gardens full of blossoming roses and spring flowers. The lawn had an impressive flower shaped arrow that pointed to a park bench where Mark asked me to sit for a photograph. Cleverly, Mark took the picture and the opportunity of being on his knee to ask me to marry him. We followed the proposal with dinner at the Sequoia Grill at the Teahouse.
